Is there a subscription?

Never. Every box and item is a one-time order. We hate subscriptions as much as you do.

Where do the items come from?

Local prairie farms and makers. Each product shows which farm it came from, right on the card.

How do farmers get paid?

Fairly, on every order. They set their price; we add a small service margin to run the store and marketing. They fulfill, we handle the rest.
